Director of Business Development
Patrick the Director of Business Development for the Commercial Lines group. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and works with clients to design and implement commercial insurance risk management strategies.
He gains a comprehensive understanding of each client’s risk management needs through a series of consultations, and by applying his broad industry knowledge. This forms the basis for the risk management plan which is tailored to the client’s specific industry and business challenges. In addition, he consults with clients on Workers' Compensation, Safety Training and other risk management tools. Patrick helps clients improve their bottom line while ensuring that their risk is properly managed.
Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and significant expertise working with clients in the manufacturing & distribution, construction, non-profit, and energy sectors. He has experience in three facets of the business - claims, underwriting and sales, on both the agency and company side.
Patrick is active with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State, the American Cancer Society, MentorRI, San Miguel School and Children’s Friend & Services. He also coaches football, baseball and hockey. Patrick is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor’s degree in business.
